As you know, there are literally dozens of antihistamines on the market, all proclaiming that theirs is the best product out there. Two market privileged, Claritin and Benadryl, make millions on their particular antihistamine products, and they definitely work to a level. But there are several side effects to these artificial products that you should be alert of.

For example, the main active feature in Claritin is loratadine, and as exposed in studies, it can be related to jaundice, seizures, heart palpitations, drowsiness, headache, blurred vision and headache. The major active ingredient in Benadryl is diphenhydramine hydrochloride and the record of side effects is just as long, and just as daunting. Apparently, these antihistamines work for the popular of users, because they are successful saleable brands. But what if you are one of the citizens who have a depressing response to loratadine or hydrochloride?
